VINATech MEA

MEA(Membrane Electrode Assembly) is a key component of a stack for fuel cell system, it is made with materials that increase the rate of a chemical reaction of fuel into electrical energy.
PEMFC MEA is generally divided into 3 types (CCM, 5layer MEA, 7layer MEA).
CCM is the most basic form of PEMFC MEA and consists of an polymer electrolyte membrane(PEM) and both electrodes (Anode and Cathode).
The hydrogen inlet into the anode react with the catalyst and is decomposed into protons and electrons.
Protons pass through the PEM and move to the other electrode cathode, where they bind with oxygen and become water with the help of a catalyst.
